The West Hartford Dog Park Coalition is a community group dedicated to the building and support of a dog park in West Hartford, CT. It is all-volunteer.
The WHDPC was founded in 2008, with the promise that we would raise money to build a dog park in West Hartford if the town would provide a location. Fourteen years later the town agreed to give us a location, renewable after one year, behind the defunct St. Bridget’s School, which the town purchased. They plan on replacing the old building with a new one. When construction starts we will have to move the dog park or shut it down. But in the meantime, we have a dog park!
As a small community non-profit, we have no office. To contact the WHDPC, please message from our Facebook group, or send us an email.
We have an email list for occasional announcements. You can subscribe here.
