About the Pop-Up Dog Park program
Pop-ups were proposed to us by Mayor Cantor and Town Manager Van Winkle, as a way of demonstrating the dog park concept to the larger community. They are NOT a substitute for a permanent dog park, but they’ll be fun events in the meantime.
They will be held once a month for the next 12 months, culminating in the 2017 Pooch Plunge.
Each month they will be held in a different location in town. The locations are not to be considered possible permanent dog park sites.
Some of those locations will have fences, such as baseball fields, others will not.
The schedule and locations are a work in progress. Locations, dates and times for October and beyond will be announced as their plans are finalized. Check Facebook, the WHDPC website, or wait for another email for future updates.
